CBODC is a member based organization of representing 2711 households, 168 groups and 5 CBOs intends to see self-dependent, justice and equitable society. It aims for building self-dependent, justice and equitable society through ensuring equal opportunities and greater participation of poor and oppressed communities in right based development process.
CBODC was established in 2006 and since then it has been functioning with active participation of youths from its working community. The organization focus its activities based on the thematic issues, which includes promoting resilient livelihood, creating income and employment generation opportunities for youths, capacity building of community members through Income and Business oriented training, Empowerment of oppressed and marginalized community including Dalits and Janajati. It has established 8 cooperatives and employed 3443 individuals where 60% are from youth. Further, our organization also coordinates with local and district level stakeholders including Government personnel and Civil Society Organizations for alliance-ship sharing of Local resources and judicial mobilization as well.
